Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 USD per year*

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining a strong visual identity for our brand, ensuring consistent and compelling design across all channels.
This role requires a highly skilled and creative graphic designer with experience in brand-building and strong familiarity with social media. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for the outdoor industry and a desire to help grow our small and unique design lead company. You will be immersed in all aspects of building the brand. We have no gatekeepers, so you will need to be confident in making decisions efficiently and will not have to bother running it by Steve, Janet and Karen for approval. We prioritize the growth and development of our team because they are the core of our company. When you get better, we get better, and we fully support that journey. While it's not always easy, we value straightforward and honest communication, even when delivering difficult feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute visually compelling brand strategies that resonate with our outdoor-loving audience, to enhance our market presence and drive customer engagement.
- Create and design high-quality visuals for various customer touch points, including branding, advertising, packaging, social media, website, email marketing and marketing materials.
- Ensure brand consistency and visual coherence across all communication channels and marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to align brand visuals with overall company goals.
- Look for collaborative opportunities with other brands to form relationships and expand our customer reach.
- Manage the creation of social media advertising material, focusing on visual appeal and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design innovations, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for visual differentiation.
- Monitor and analyze brand performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
ABOUT YOU:
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in design, or comparable degree or experience.
- At least 1-4 years of experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Visual communications expert, able to communicate ideas with clarity to other team members.
- High level of proficiency across the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with creating visually appealing social media posts /adverts.
- Strong understanding of visual brand strategy and development.
- Excellent storytelling skills through visual design.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Has a passion for the outdoors and a desire to grow within our company.
- Previous knowledge of the outdoor industry is desirable.
- Videography and photography skillset is desirable.
